Emergency water removal in Orange County
If there is water on the floor as you read this, the useful window is measured in hours. This page is short on purpose.

Do these three things first
Shut off the water supply if you can reach the valve safely. For a water heater or a supply line, that is usually a valve at the fixture; for a slab leak it is the main shutoff, often near the street side of the house.
Kill power to affected rooms at the breaker if water is anywhere near outlets, cords or panels. Do not walk into standing water to reach a switch.
Take photos before anything is moved. Insurance carriers ask for them, and they take thirty seconds.
Why waiting costs more than the extraction
Removing standing water is the cheap part of the job. What drives cost is what the water reaches while it sits — drywall wicking upward, insulation holding moisture against framing, adhesive trapping water beneath flooring.
Past roughly 24 to 48 hours, the work usually stops being extraction and drying and starts being demolition and rebuild. That is the difference the first phone call makes.
If water is in the home right now, make the call before anything else. Everything on this page keeps; drying does not.
